Bio
Hedder Ilustre-Pascua begins her first season as the volunteer coach at North Idaho College. Ilustre-Pascua grew up playing indoor and beach volleyball in Southern California. She was a State MVP and All-American at Bishop Montgomery High school in Torrance, CA. While there, she was a two-year CIF Finalist, two-year CIF Champion, and two-year State Champion. She then played at Cal State University Northbridge and earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year as an outside hitter. She transferred to the University of Hawaii at Manoa and was First-Team All Western Athletic Conference. At Hawaii she was able to be part of six NCAA playoff rounds which included three NCAA Final Fours; one as a player and two as part of the University of Hawaii Women's Volleyball staff. In addition, she was part of the US A2 National Volleyball team in 2001.
After college she coached various clubs and high schools in Hawaii, Southern California, Northern California, North Idaho and Eastern Washington. She became the Director of North Idaho Thunder Volleyball Club in Coeur d’Alene, ID in 2014. In 2020 she began coaching and taking a leadership role as one of the directors for College Prep Academy Volleyball Club out of Spokane, WA. She is also the Beach Volleyball Director for College Prep Academy. She and her husband Drew have three children. They all love playing sports, board games and spending time on the lake.
