2024 Volleyball Season Preview
The 2024 season for North Idaho College begins new chapter for Cardinal Volleyball as they rejoin the NJCAA in the Scenic West Athletic Conference, and are now under the guidance of Head Coach Drew Pascua. Pascua is a former assistant that takes over the program after spending six seasons on staff at Gonzaga University and recently helped to direct CPA Volleyball Club in Spokane, WA.
This 2024 team features a hungry group of Cardinals with key players that were major contributors on a team that finished runner-up in the NWAC Championships last season. Karolyne Wolfgramm is the returning setter who led the NWAC in assists per set, while right-side Madi Harper brings big-match experience. The new recruits for the Cards feature incoming middle Annie Lewis, who is a product of Club V based in Salt Lake City, UT, and libero Brecklan Weaver, a First Team All-State selection out of Union High School in Roosevelt, UT. Also joining the team is a middle from Texing, Austria, Nicole Groiss, who has been competing against some of the top international clubs throughout her junior career.
The Cardinals look forward to the challenge of the new conference and look to compete for a berth to the NJCAA national tournament.
The first home match will take place on Thursday, September 19 against Carroll College at 6:00 p.m.
