PORT ANGELES, Wash. — North Idaho College, the third-seed from the East Region, had its season come to an end on a goal by Elliana Barden in the 95th minute of a 1-0 loss to Peninsula, the top seed from the North Region in the Northwest Athletic Conference quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.
NIC, which lost 2-1 at Peninsula on Aug. 19, finished 13-5-4.
NIC sophomore goalkeeper Kaycee Chavez had 10 saves.
Peninsula (17-0-2) advances to face either Bellevue or Spokane in the semifinals on Friday at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Wash.
