COEUR d'ALENE — The host Cardinals won five matches via technical fall to beat the Vikings in a dual at Christianson Gymnasium.
"Elijah (Cater, who wrestled at 125) got things rolling right away to set the tone," NIC coach Derrick Booth said. "It was a good team win."
NIC travels to the Mountaineer Open on Sunday on the campus of Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Ore.
