Cards finish third at PLU Invitational

The NIC women's golf team participated in a 36-Hole event that took place at the Home Course in Dupont, WA on September 25 & 26. The weather conditions were pretty tough out there both days with heavy rain that led to standing water on the greens and heavy winds up to 25-30 mph. 

The women finished in third place out of nine teams. The Cardinals finished ahead of all NWAC teams but following winner Whitman University and second place Whitworth University. The women finished with a two day total of (+80), 36 shots behind winner Whitman University (+44). Sophomore Laila Jalil (T8; 79-79) and Freshman Rien Solodan (T10; 84-78) both had top 10 individual finishes.
