
Cardinal women win third straight tournament
LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Rien Solodan of North Idaho College led a 1-2-3 finish as the Cardinal women won a Northwest Athletic Conference golf match hosted by Highline College by 44 shots at Oakbrook Golf Course on Monday.
Solodan shot 161, Sofia Lippiello 162 and Laila Jalil 163 for NIC.
Despite being without head coach Russell Grove, who this week is attempting to qualify for the PGA Championship, NIC's men's and women's teams won their third straight tournament.
Next up for NIC is the NWAC Championships May 19-20 in Yakima, Wash.
