Cardinal women win at Olympic tourney

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — The North Idaho College women's golf team was victorious at the Olympic Invitational Northwest Athletic Conference tournament which concluded Monday at McCormick Woods Golf Club.

 

NIC's women won by 33 shots over Centralia.

Sofia Lippiello and Laila Jalil of NIC tied for third, each shooting 86-84—170, nine strokes behind the winner. Ava Young of NIC was fifth at 172, and Rien Solodan tied for 10th at 182.

Next up for NIC is an NWAC tournament hosted by Grays Harbor in DuPont, Wash.
