Cardinal women get the win in Kennewick

The North Idaho College women's golf team traveled to Kennewick, WA for the Columbia Basin Spring Invitational which took place Sunday, April 16 and Monday, April 17 at the Canyon Lakes Golf Course.

The Cardinal women came out victorious, winning by 18 shots as freshman Laila Jalil took second place individually. The Lady Cardinals had a two-day total of 523 on a course with tricky greens that played fast and firm in some heavy winds. Jalil led the way for the Cards with rounds of 84-80. Navy Wood also had a top 10 individual finish (92-87; T10).
