Kiefer shines again as Cardinals close out in Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Addie Kiefer, a sophomore from Lakeland High, notched a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds for North Idaho College, which concluded play in the College of Southern Nevada Holiday Classic with a 62-49 win over Lethbridge on Wednesday.

"I thought we made some progress defensively and did some decent things this week," said NIC coach Nathan Covill, whose team finished 2-1 in the tournament. "We rebounded and took care of the ball today. Addie had a great game again, which really helped."

Sophomore Solei Elletson had 14 points and six assists off the bench for NIC (7-8), which opens Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Jan. 10 against Snow College at Rolly Williams Court.

Lethbridge is 8-4.
