Bio

Megan Carver enters her fourth year on the NIC coaching staff as an assistant coach. Coming from Auburn, Washington, Megan attended and played for North Idaho College from 2015-2018 under former head coach Don Don Williams and Shay Fuson. After a seaon ending injury forced her to redshirt her freshmen year, Megan went on to start in all 48 games in the 2016-2017 season earning All-Conference honors while posting a .392 batting average with 58 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 8 home runs, 58 RBI's and 13 stolen bases. Carver played a solid 2nd base posting a .924 fielding percentage with 33 put outs, 28 assists, and only 5 errors. In her 2018 season, Carver finished second in the NWAC for batting average (.517) and doubles (24), while ranking top five in runs batted in (72). She was named First Team All-Region, NFCA First Team All-American, NWAC All-Tournament team and helped lead the 2018 cardinals to their first NWAC Championship. Megan then attended Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida from 2018-2021 where she received her BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. In Megan’s career at KU, the Seahawks went 57-47, each season making it to the conference tournament. Megan now resides in Coeur d’Alene.
