The 2023 season was Chapman’s most successful season to date as she lead the Cardinals to an East Region Championship with a 28-4 conference record, and a 39-11 overall record. Chapman was named East Region Coach of the Year, and lead her team to a 4th place NWAC Championship finish. Sophomore Abbey Brooks was named East Region Pitcher of the Year, and Sophomore Emma Todhunter won the NFCA Golden Glove award as a 2nd baseman.

The previous year, despite a line up that was depleted by injuries towards the end of the season, Chapman lead the Cardinals to a 2nd place East Region finish and a 31-17 overall record.

In 2021 Chapman lead her team to a first place finish in the NWAC East Region, that was cut short due to Covid 19.

In her four seasons as the head coach, Chapman has recorded a 97-40 record.

In her six seasons as the assistant coach, Chapman helped lead the Cardinals to two East Region Championships, and a NWAC Championship Title.

She was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American in 2008, and still holds several records at NIC including second in career walks (78), sixth in career home runs (29), and third in career RBIs (121).

At Adelphi University, Chapman was voted the 2011 team MVP and had a team-high batting average of .373. In 2011, she finished first on the team with 35 RBIs and 95 total bases as well as leading that team to the North East-10 conference championship playoffs in 2011. Chapman was a NE-10 Second Team All-Conference nominee in 2011. Chapman graduated from NIC in 2009 and graduated with honors from Adelphi University in 2011.
