RENO, Nev. — It wasn't a loss, but it was sure disappointing for the 13th-ranked North Idaho College men's soccer team.
Freshman Ismael Mane scored in the 73rd minute for the Cardinals, but Truckee Meadows was able to convert on a free kick in the final seconds to force a 1-1 draw in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match on Saturday.
"We had a lot of chances to score," NIC coach Brad Williams said. "They didn't have a lot. It's disappointing not to win the game when we had the game won. But we've got to move on and get ready for Snow on Thursday."
NIC (12-0-3, 7-0-3 SWAC) hosts Snow on Thursday at Eisenwinter Field.
