Cardinals drop game on the road

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Dean Figueroa had a goal and assist for the Warriors in a Northwest Athletic Conference win over the Cardinals.

"We fought as hard as we could, but just didn't have enough steam," said NIC coach Brad Williams, who was without two starters due to red cards from Wednesday's match at Treasure Valley. "All four of our keepers played today, but a few in different positions because of injuries. The guys played hard, but it was just tough."

NIC (2-4-1, 1-3-1 NWAC) hosts Columbia Basin on Wednesday.

Walla Walla is 5-0-5, 4-0-1.
