
NIC GOLF: Cardinals open spring schedule in Oregon
BANDON, Ore. — Freshman Noah Moody was the top local finisher for North Idaho College in the spring-opening Bandon Dunes Championships, which concluded on Tuesday at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
Moody was 59th with a three-round total of 73-75-75—223 for NIC — the lone junior college in the field with Division I programs — which finished 16th.
Utah Valley's Dane Huddleston was the men's medalist with a 63-67-67—198.
Oregon won the team title with a 283-289-276—848.
Former NIC golfer Josh McCartain, now at Idaho, was 88th with an 80-79-78—237.
NIC competes in the Warrior Spring Classic March 24-25 at Lewiston Country Club.
