NIC places third at PLU Invitational

The NIC men's golf team participated in a 36-Hole event that took place at the Home Course in Dupont, WA on September 25 & 26. The weather conditions were pretty tough both days with heavy rain that led to standing water on the greens, and heavy winds up to 25-30 mph. 

The men finished in third place out of 11 teams. The Cards finished ahead of all NWAC teams but ended behind Whitman University who took first and Pacific Lutheran University who took second. The men finished with a two-day total of (+15 over par) 9 shots behind winner Whitman at (+6 over par). Sophomore Josh McCartain led the way rounds of 74-71.
