Cardinal men win at Olympic tourney

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — The North Idaho College men's golf team was victorious at the Olympic Invitational Northwest Athletic Conference tournament which concluded Monday at McCormick Woods Golf Club.

NIC's men won by 13 shots over Community Colleges of Spokane. Jarett Giles of NIC finished runner-up, falling on the second hole of a playoff after shooting a 77-73—150, 4 over par. Josh McCartain and Dyson Lish of NIC tied for third at 151.

Cole Jaworski of Community Colleges of Spokane, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene High, finished tied for sixth with a 77-75—152

Next up for NIC is an NWAC tournament hosted by Grays Harbor in DuPont, Wash.
