MEN'S GOLF: North Idaho takes NWAC Championship

The North Idaho College men's golf team claims the 2021-22 NWAC Championship title after two days of excellent play in Yakima, WA at the Apple Tree Golf Course May 22-23. This is the men's forth straight title as they won in 2017, 2018, and 2019 (2020 and 2021 cancelled due to COVID-19).

The Cards won by 16 shots over second place Bellevue College. Sophomore James Swan was the first place individual medalist, shooting 73-74 (147). James Baldauf (T5) and Tyler Vassar (T10) also finished in the top 10 individually.

James Swan was selected as NWAC Golf Player of the Year on the men's side, while Head Coach Russell Grove was selected as NWAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year.
