GOLF: Men take second, women third at Centralia Match

Men:

The Centralia NWAC League Match wrapped up today at Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis, WA on Monday, May 2.

The North Idaho College men's golf team finished in second place. The men finished two shots behind first place Bellevue College. James Swan continued his stellar play and won the event individually by six shots shooting 64-69 (-9). Tyler Vassar also finished inside the top 10 at T7 with rounds of 69-77 (+4).

As the Centralia NWAC League Match concluded, the North Idaho College women's team took third place. Megan Light led the way for the Cardinals finishing 7th overall with rounds of 84-78. Mckenly Day was right behind in 8th place with scores of 81-83.

*The women's team scores are incorrect on Birdiefire as it is set to count 4 scores rather than 3. 

The Cardinals have three weeks to gear up for the NWAC Conference Championship on May 22-23 at Appletree GC (Yakima, WA), where they last won the NWAC Season Preview in the fall.
