Bio

MaKenna Turk is a BOC certified athletic trainer licensed by the Idaho State Board of Medicine. As a nationally board certified and board of medicine licensed healthcare professional, his medical practice includes the assessment and evaluation, treatment, management, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries, emergency medical situations and general medical conditions. He received a Bachelors Degree in Health & Human Performance and Masters Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Montana and after graduating joint the Idaho Athletic Training Community. During his time in Idaho he has worked as a clinical athletic trainer along side various types of orthopedic specialists, a high school athletic trainer at the 3A and 5A level, and outreach athletic trainer providing services for community events such as soccer tournaments and rodeo. Outside of work MaKenna volunteers service back to his profession by working with the Idaho Athletic Trainers’ Association to fulfill the mission of advocating to protect and advance the profession of athletic training in Idaho as well as the health and safety of all patient populations that athletic trainers in Idaho work with.

MaKenna and his wife Kaitlin love the life that North Idaho has given them and their two cats, Toph and Razz. They enjoy taking advantage of the North Idaho outdoors and spend their time doing activities such as hunting, fly fishing, paddle boarding, and camping.
